This degen is back home and ready to resume SpiritSwap DAO's communications as per usual. Lets kick off with this weeks wind up! 👻 This week's inSPIRIT distribution sent a total of 1,786,823 SPIRIT valued at $15,163 resulting in an APR of 31.36% 💲 This week inSPIRIT holders received a total of $365 USD in bribes. 💰 Combined value to inSPIRIT holders: Taking bribes + weekly distribution into account, the current USD value for inSPIRIT holders this week has totaled $15,528 USD in rewards distributed. NOTE: This excludes vote fee rewards which vary depending on the gauge. ⚖️ Governance: There is currently a vote live on Snapshot for supporting Orbs' offer to integrate the new protocol for TWAP orders. The TLDR to the befits this proposal offers the DAO can be summarized below: By breaking up orders into smaller pieces, can reduce the price impact of large orders or orders in pools that have low-liquidity. Arbitrageurs can close any price discrepancies in the interval between trades. TWAP orders can also be used to automate dollar-cost averaging strategies (where the investor purchases an asset or set of assets having a certain dollar value on a specific schedule (i.e., on the first day of every month). You can check out the full proposal below and cast your vote if you are inclined to do so. 👇 Dev front updates There are a few other things cooking up on the back burner pertaining to Ecosystem farms and potential solutions to a multi-chain expansion. With the DAO now having full control over decisions moving forward, and multiple development teams now contributing to the DAO the wheels tend to turn slower on these kinds of pushes (this is the double-edged sword of decentralization). However, with these discussions being held among multiple potential contributors, it's pertinent to mention that the next iteration of SpiritSwap is being explored. With this said, a reminder that if ANY community member has any ideas they want to be discussed, or if any budding developers out there want to contribute to the DAO, you are open and welcome to do so.
