Happy Saturday everyone ! Its Degens Gigest time. Apologies for the short one this week, have been dealing with an ongoing family emergency, so im a little pressed for time. I'll also be doing this early this week (Saturday instead of Sunday, as I have alot of travel and transit over the next 72 hours. So, lets tuck in to some juicy updates.
👻 inSPIRIT:
This week's inSPIRIT distribution sent a total of 754,205 SPIRIT valued at $11,491, over double last week's distribution of $6,401 USD, a good sign the market is awakening, perfect timing for V2 launch, don't ya think ? 😉
💸 Bribes:
This week inSPIRIT holders received a total of $12,009.75 USD in bribes. Snapshots have been distributed to bribe participants who are currently in the distribution process. You can check the #Bribes-list channel for any required updates on your distribution.
💴 Combined value to inSPIRIT holders:
Taking bribes + weekly distribution into account, the current USD value for inSPIRIT holders this week has totaled $23,500.75 USD in rewards distributed to inSPIRIT holders.
🔥: Fireside with SOULLY:
For this week's fireside with SOULLY, we were humbled with the cameo appearance of Heesh’s big brain. Heesh covered bonding curve models and their application to DeFi at large.
Heesh discussed the benefits of Bonding curve models, their intricate workings, the various structures and hinted at some upcoming benefits they could offer SpiritSwap in the future.
A little bit of Alpha for you, Expect to see more about bonding curves in the coming week or so.
To not lead anyone on, they do not have anything to do with V2 (that has its own magic within itself), but keep an eye out for future fireside chats and the possibility of some upcoming DAO proposals (i'm pretty excited for this one personally).
⚙️ V2: 👀
We're now at the point where tickets are complete. Prep for launch is underway (i've been up till 12 AM most nights) We’re super duper close).
V2 testing links have been sent out to high profile community members which has been met with praise and jubilation. The Fantom Foundation themselves were pretty excited by the update.
As discussed in the fireside chat, we received a positive first pass from our second audit for V2 (PeckShield), who have given us a verbal confirmation that all looks good. At this point we’re simply waiting for a written overview of the audit as official confirmation.
At this point, all systems are gone, the support crew are done gassing up the rocket, countdown is ready to commence, and we're almost ready for lift off. Watch and wait for more info.
🧹 HouseKeeping:
On Tuesday, I will fly to the states to be with the rest of the development team, so please forgive me as I have roughly two days of travel (collectively). If I'm late broadcasting things, or if there is a disruption to this week's “general process”, it is simply because I'm in transit or a tad jetlagged (apologies in advance).
