Sid gave a presentation on the following - inSPIRIT weekly rewards - When to claim bribe rewards and how they work - When do you vote - When does distribution happen to each gauge? The purpose of V2 was not only to improve the tokenomics and internal workings of the SpiritSwap ecosystem but also to establish a self-efficient process within the ecosystem. By this we mean, that rather than the team calling distribution each week, everything is now automated. With this automation in place, the V1 status quo that had become gospel also became irrelevant as distributions and processes relating to gauge distribution & bribes inherently became asynchronous. Sid will update the V2 Gitbook with more information in the coming weeks along with information around how the community can call all crucial functions (if they so choose) along with how to automate the claim function for yourself (saving you the time and effort of doing it manually). Bug Fix’s / UI upgrades: As per the Fireside chat, one major update has happened this week. The countdown clock for inSPIRIT rewards has been updated for the claim alert to happen at Friday 00:00 UTC every week. This is due to the fact that this is the very latest distribution claims can be made. As mentioned claims can happen any time now, but certain claims can only be made every 24 hours. In the past, this was done by the development team. However, in an effort to make SpiritSwap as decentralized as possible, these claims and the times at which claims are called can be made by anyone at any time, meaning the countdown clock is now more of a guide rather than an objective distribution time as to when the latest distribution can happen. This should clear up any confusion among the community and allow for greater transparency. ⚖️ Governance: There is discussion among two separate development teams who wish to contribute further to SpiritSwap in a bid to continue decentralization. Over the coming weeks, it is expected for further proposals to be made to the DAO requesting for these developments to be accepted by the DAO, offering new features to SpiritSwap V2. This is exactly how SpiritSwap V2 was designed. To get more people involved and allow for a truly permissionless DEX to thrive. As the age-old adage goes “Two heads are better than one”. For v2 gauge proxies there is a limit on the distribution function - it can only be called once a week. When we released v2 we called this distribute function on Thursday afternoon PST, so we can only call distribute tomorrow afternoon PST (late night UTC). That just means you have 1 more day for voting and for protocols to add bribes! v2 emissions from last Thursday will still be active till tomorrow afternoon so nothing to worry about. v1 emissions will be stopped today so make sure to migrate your liq here as APRs will be huge starting tomorrow! Today I will basically be listing a bunch of bugs and tasks we have completed in the last two days. - Blacklist criminal addresses (US government required). - Bridge balances loading in token select panel on bridge more efficiently. - Zap direct to farm working flawlessly now. - Incorrect COMB logo fixed. - Fixed auto refresh issue. - Compound issue fixed so now we fully 100% compound user's rewards when a user presses compound. We used to do 40%....god knows why. - Build version is now in the footer on the bottom right if you are curious which build we are on. This will auto update often. - Fixed instabilities with the bridge. - Fixed gas price refresh rate. Now we refresh this every 5 seconds. - Fixed transaction speed in the settings to actually show the amount of GWEI associated with each speed once selected. - Added padding to SpiritSwap logo on smaller screens for you mobile people out there. - Fixed bug with adding liquidity for FTM/sFTMx. - Warn and help users who try to add liquidity to the wrong AMM when selecting certain tokens. For example, selecting stables and adding liquidity to the variable AMM. In this case, we would prompt the user and let them know they should be adding liquidity to the stable AMM. - Fixed ROI calculator unclear input box that had no placeholder text. Now has placeholder text so the user knows what to type there. - Ongoing: Analytics page for v2 is in progress. Dev updates: 4 SUPER important ones first: 1) Integrated WalletConnect. 2) Fixed all alUSD issues sitewide. - Swap issues with alUSD fixed. - Liquidity page issues with alUSD fixed. 3) After swapping token balances are more quickly within the token select panel. 4) Wrapping and unwrapping FTM works flawlessly now Others: - Fixed flashing issue when going to home page or inSPIRIT page. - inSPIRIT voting boxes will now stay a certain color to show you which gauges/farms you have votes already locked in for to make it easier on the user. - All of the SpiritWars data is now being cached and will save the DAO $40 a day of maintenance since data is stored locally on client more often. - The swap will no longer proceed to confirm panel without a valid balance from the user, which will save the user a step/time which is valuable to users. Time is everything. - Users can no longer import tokens into the Create farms token select panel. This should have never been a feature. @everyone we are FLYING right now and everyday V2 gets more efficient, fast, and usable from a UX perspective. V2 public beta is LIVE ! Yes folks, the moment you have all been patiently waiting for is here. SpiritSwap V2 public beta is officially live! This is a public beta, there may be a few bugs, if you find them please report them to the bug reports channel. 2. Due to how the gauge proxy works, emissions won't officially start until the next distribution epoch (Wednesday 5PM PST). Until that point farms won't yield anything as gauges will not be primed. 3. Due to the aforementioned, bribes will be split in proportion with emission allocation, so make sure to vote on the same gauges for both V1 & V2. Until the public beta is over and full emissions are sent to V2, bribes will be split 90 % to V1 and 10% to V2 (just like the emissions are) 4. Instructions on how to migrate liquidity can be found in this document: Note as per the migration document, V2 AMM’s won't be active right away. Due to liquidity still needing to be migrated, routers will hop through V1 LP’s until enough liquidity is formed in V2 LP’s for the routers to validate doing so. Due to how the gauge proxy works, emissions for V2 LP’s won't start emitting until* TOMORROW (11/10/22) 5. Additional V2.1 features such as linear stable pools, weighted pools and ecosystem farms have been restricted from V2 public beta to ensure we don't bite off more than we can chew with the initial unveiling. So long as there are a plethora of major bugs reported during the public beta period, you can expect these features to be launched pretty soon after the public beta period is over. 6. Bribe # 1 OneRing To celebrate the upcoming launch of V2, Onering are doubling their bribe to $2000 this week (what amazing partners they are!) This bribe is a special one as it requires double voting. Split Bribe As outlined in the medium article posted above 🙄 ☝️the V2 gauge proxy will have 10 % of emissions sent to it, meaning 10% of liquidity is being incentivized on the V2 gauge proxy, with 90% to V1. This means OneRing will be splitting their bribe accordingly. 10 % to V2 gauge 90 % to V1 gauge To capture the full bribe during the public beta period, inSPIRIT will need to cast their votes on both V1 and V2 gauges. Once the public beta is finished and V2 becomes SpiritSwaps main product, all bribes will be cast on V2.

Spirit Swap - YouTube 👷 V2: As you all know, we hit a snag on the final deployment of V2 public beta which we were hoping to have out last week. The issue came whereby we were under the impression that a required 3rd party integration of a master router was complete, however with this being out of our control, we were told last minute that the integration was not complete, with the 3rd party unable to provide us with a concrete deadline. Although this completely blind sided us, we spent the better part of 2 days looking for an alternative where we managed to find 2 potential solutions. These solutions are being worked on in tandem by the developer team, with whatever solution passing QA tests first being the option we will go with in order to expedite V2 public beta launch. With this said, to prove our intentions to launch at earliest convenience are legitimate, Heesh re routed 10% of emissions from the Master Chef contract to the V2 gauge proxy contract yesterday, meaning as of next distribution (Wednesday 5PM PST) these emissions will no longer be fed to V1, but rather V2 gauges. ✍️ NOTE This update does come with a condition. During the public beta period, gauges from both V1 & V2 farms will need to be voted on. This process will need to continue throughout the transition period / public beta period (likely be 2 weeks,if there are no issues). Once the public beta period is over and all emissions are directed to V2, V1 contracts will be redundant and inSPIRIT holders can continue to vote on V2 gauges in their entirety just like you have been accustomed to doing with V1. If you are unsure about what any of this means, please ask our friendly Mod / Admin team. Further to this, it's important to note that due to limited emissions (10%) being dedicated to V2 for the public beta period, we logically expect that only 10% of liquidity to flow over from V1 - V2. This means V2 will only be collecting 10% of fees from router transactions which in short means the new fee structure that we feel will revolutionize the inSPIRIT ecosystem will only be running at about 10% efficiency. What we want to stress here is, please be patient, think of the public beta as a reveal and taste test of what to expect once we open the flood gates and fully incentivize our new AMM. At this point we are doing system checks and prepping everything for launch. Right now, we are however held up on a slight snag. As SpiritSwap V2 integrates multiple AMM models, there is the need for a master router to be utilized. This master router is similar to a master router that a DEX aggregator uses to route through multiple DEX’s. Rather than creating our own (because why add unnecessary development time), we have opted to use one that already exists via a 3rd party. However, this 3rd party is still in the process of QA testing one final AMM router that encompasses an important part of our V2 AMM model, into their master router. This delay is literally out of our hands at this point. We will continue to keep the community posted on any updates pertaining to the master router situation. Marketing surrounding V2 will commence as of next week regardless as we are good to go from our end and expect to launch V2 by the week following at the latest. Prep for launch is underway (i've been up till 12 AM most nights) We’re super duper close). V2 testing links have been sent out to high profile community members which has been met with praise and jubilation. The Fantom Foundation themselves were pretty excited by the update. As discussed in the fireside chat, we received a positive first pass from our second audit for V2 (PeckShield), who have given us a verbal confirmation that all looks good. At this point we’re simply waiting for a written overview of the audit as official confirmation. At this point, all systems are gone, the support crew are done gassing up the rocket, countdown is ready to commence, and we're almost ready for lift off.
